Jessica qualified and started working as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2014. After graduating, she completed a month of volunteer work in Romania supporting orphaned children with complex needs. Upon her return, she started working for the NHS in Birmingham.
For five years Jessica managed a varied and complex caseload of children in community clinics. She also spent several years working as a specialist in a multi-disciplinary team, assessing preschool children for Autistic Spectrum Condition and Global Developmental Delay.
From 2019, Jessica spent 4 years working in another NHS role in a Warwickshire Special Educational Needs school, supporting children from nursery to secondary-school age, with communication needs due to their developmental or physiological conditions.
Jessica decided to start working independently and joined the Links Team in 2023. She enjoys working with a varied caseload but she has particular interest and experience in autism, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and phonology.
